Willow Springs in a new video game

Postby abarnum on Tue Sep 15, 2009 9:24 pm

Just bought Need for Speed: Shift because I heard its supposed to be a decent simulation... and it has Big Willow. Initial impressions are disappointing. It does have Big Willow but they added grandstands and banners surrounding the entire track which takes away the "charm" of rosamond... and it seems like they magnified the elevation changes. The car simulation is garbage too. Oh well... stick to forza 2 or wait til forza 3 comes out in a month or two for a decent driving sim. Also thought it was weird that they had Big Willow and Horse Thief Mile... but no Streets... oh well.

If you want a good WSIR simulation try Rfactor and download the Willow Springs track.
