:roflmao: :roflmao: When I saw "BW" the first thing that popped into mind was Buttonwillow, not Best Western :roflmao: . You can be assured that any of those hotels are better than anything available at Buttonwillow.

But since I haven't stayed since our first or second year out the track I will give a post event report on the changes.

Will the hotel get a 1 to 5 SG star rating?

You are loosing your touch...
I would have expected something like:

"Will the hotel get a 1 to 5 SG spin rating?"

What was I thinking? I forget, is 1 spin better than 5>

Are you kidding me?
a 360 across start finish will get you applause...
3 of them will get you a standing ovation with a reception line of your best (and worst) friends as you sheepishly attempt to sneak back into the pits.
Or so I've heard...
Not sure what response you would get for five 360's... and I don't want to know.
You give it a try and let me know... I've already had my time in the barrel.

No room at the Inn :banghead: I've called the Nugget (three times), Best Western, and Saddle West- all full. The Nugget had a single bed in a smoking room but that won't work for me. The gal at Saddle West suggested, quite sincerely, that I try Sherris Ranch, which also offers, uhm, other services. But I think I'll pass, despite her enthusiastic endorsement "I'd stay there in a heartbeat! The brothel is seperate." :surr:

Fourth times the charm! The lady at the Nuggett found me a non smoking single bed under the"John" Miller block of rooms. Geez, so much for procrastination.

So - did the mention of Sherri's Ranch get you thinking about asking for reservations for "Johns"?
And why not stay at Sherri's Ranch? "Honey - about that charge from Sherri's Ranch. Er, yes, it is a brothel, but I only stayed there to use the bed."
