Historic Speed

I apologize that this isn't Porsche specific and hope I am not breaking a rule too badly. My other love is my 2001 Triumph ST and my wife and I meet with a group on some Saturdays called the Moto Euro Breakfast Club. Aside from the rides, and the interesting people, and the good food, these folks have SERIOUS historic motorcycle connections. That’s where I came by the pictures of the actual bike that Burt Munro set the land speed record on. I hope some might enjoy them. The bike will will be in the La Jolla Concours on Sunday, January 10, 2010.

Cheers,

The movie about Burt and his machine is one of the best. Mr. Munro was one serious shade tree mechanic  Thanks for sharing.
