Some help?

Hi guys:

Monica and I are trying to gather donation items/support for the upcoming 912Registry Rendezvous (coming this August 4th-6th). Of particular interest is support/donated goods for the "Saturday Night Dinner and Awards" event. We would like to have lots of raffle items for this event to keep the audience in good spirits, and make the evening more fun. Sadly, we currently have only a couple of items for the raffle, so far.

If you could help me to find additional sponsors/items for the Rendezvous it would greatly enhance the event, and help me out tremendously. So; names, companies, contacts, items of interest, your old friends ... anything and everything that would be appropriate to the 912 Rendezvous event as support would be appreciated.

Items could be as small/simple as a set of valve-cover gaskets, distributor cap/rotor, baseball cap (with your logo ... imagine that!), T-shirts/polo-shirts/jackets, case of motor oil, small flash light for the glove box (again, with your logo), wiper blades, tire valve caps, micro-fiber towels for cleaning/detailing (these 912 people are pretty fussy about detailing), coffee mugs, pens, posters .... you get the idea. As a non-profit organization donations can have tax incentives for you.

If you have immediate ideas, drop me an email with those ideas and I'll get right on them.

dwchambers@hotmail.com

As always, any and all support will be recognized with copious endorsements from us.

Please let me know your thoughts as soon as you can. I have 6 weeks to try and get goodies stored up for the event.

Thanks, guys.

When I was restoring my 912 I spent much $$$ with the following. :

1) Classic and Speed Parts - Will Pringle 656-445-0108 (I spent several thousand $$$ with him as have other 912'ers); minor parts, etc.
2) Stoddards - again, a lot of $$$
3) EASY in Oakland - Jim is the contact and might provide a part or two.
4) Mirage - aligned my 912 as well as others. Maybe a certificate for an alignment.
5) Pelican Parts - a lot of $$$ as have other 912'ers
6) Black Forest - on two occasions they worked on an idling problem with the 912; T-shirts? minor service certificate
7) Dieter's - Steve Grosekemper has published articles in the Witness on his 912 project and maybe would like to get more 912 work.
8 ) Benton Performance - obvious
9) European Collectables - Jeff Trask has been a long time 912 owner and supporter; T-shirts, hats.
10) Auto's International - several 912'ers, including myself, have used them; whatever they have

Considering the business we have done with the above hopefully they would have something to contribute.
