Instructor Call Out

Postby mtcurran on Sun Aug 15, 2021 2:58 pm

Hello Everyone,
As of now we have 66 entries for the September 18,19 WSIR DE TT. Of those, up to 19 will need an instructor. If you have signed up and are an instructor, please consider contributing to the success of the event by taking a student for the weekend. We are hoping to not turn students away. Instructors get a reduced entry fee and double the track time. If you are interested in becoming an instructor please let us know and we will get the process started for you. You'll find instructing to be very rewarding and it will improve your driving as well. I'm looking forward to getting the DE TT season restarted next month. And as a reminder, we have a CVR DE TT scheduled for October 16, 17 and a BW DE TT scheduled for November 6, 7. Also, CFOS is scheduled for October 30, 31. Lots of opportunities to get some quality track time are coming up this Fall. We need instructors at all of these events. Please consider helping us with the effort to bring in the new drivers who are hungry to get involved with our club. After all, some of them will become instructors with time or volunteer in other ways to help run the events. Consider instructing an investment in finding our future volunteers so you can sit back, participate, and let the new people run the show.
Thank you for your consideration,
Best regards,
Mark

I just spoke with Mark. The CFOS event in October is NOT hosted by PCASDR, and it's a DE only.
I'm sure they will need a lot of instructors also, especially those who have driven that track.
