UPS package with brake pads stolen

Postby bobbrand on Wed May 07, 2014 9:02 am

I ordered some brake pads from Paragon for my Carrera and they were stolen 5 minutes after the UPS driver delivered them. I had a camera on my front door that shows a young lady take the packages right after they were dropped. I posted the link on youtube and linked below. She was probably just following the UPS truck around and waiting for the driver to drop the package and drive off.

Paragon quickly shipped out a replacement (great service!) but I wanted to post here in case anyone came across anybody trying to sell the brake pads, maybe can help catch someone and stop this kind of stupid crime

The pads were Pagid sport pads for rear of 911, and the box contained 2 liters of ATE Super Gold brake fluid.

Bob,
I watched your video with interest. I agree with the theory of her following the ups truck around. Now I wonder why this doesn't happen more often! Thanks for posting and glad things worked out for you.

You'd think they could run the license plate and match it to a newer ford focus?
