It is going to to be
the determining event for some classes. CC-11 is pretty well wrapped up with DanManDown leading the parade. He had a stellar season and has rightfully earned his #1 spot. That don't mean I won't be trying to hand him a little Wuppa$$ at Buttonwillow just to keep him humble.

He's gonna have to check his mirrors once in a while (if only to watch me fade from them

). It might be a good idea for DMD (DanManDown) to stay at the track overnight. Leaving his car unattended could be ….. well never mind.
CC-9? Well, that's another story! I'd almost switch run groups so I could watch the dynamics and the drama of a certain Silver Bullet and 911-SG. The mind-games are just beginning, I'm sure. While poor M.R. has to contend with running itsy-bitsy 225/245 used tires, SG can't really flog-it 'cause he's sharing a car and can't risk breaking it (Don't worry: I'll be bringing all my spare parts again: axles, CV joints, hubs, wheels, lug nuts).
As noted, there are several other classes that bring the season to a close based on BW results. It's down to the wire, and everyone will likely be bringing their A-game. As a token of good sportsmanship, I'm offering DMD a couple of gifts for Saturday night: a bottle of Jack Daniels, a bottle of Jose Quervo, maybe a couple of beers to wash 'em down. Stop by garage #6, DMD. We'll have ourselves a
good ol' time! (Now, where'd I put that tea?)

just a "well prepared" street car ... or a very, very well-mannered track car."
