RE-71R tires and Porsche OEM wheels

Well, I have been trying to get my RE-71R 245/35R19 tires mounted on my OEM front wheels,
and nobody seems to be able to get them to air up. I have visited just about every tire
shop in town including the dealer but to no avail. They tried everything in the book
except the lighter fluid trick. They never have an issue with the 305/30R19 tires
on the rear wheels though.

At first I thought (and they said) the issue was with the 245 tires but they couldn't get
the 235 tires to seal either. I'm really stuck at this point and I guess the worst
case scenario is to give the Michelin 4S rubber a try.

What's the year, make and model you are putting these on?

Also what are the brand and sizes of the original tires?

This is for a 2010 Carrera S.

Wheel models: Carrera S II and Carrera S (lobster forks)
Wheel size: 19" x 8"
Offset: 57MM
Original tire size: 235/35R19

BTW, the 19" front wheels on the 987 Boxster/Cayman are also same size and have the same offset.

I know they had issues with my RE-71R tires at first, but were eventually able to get them to seat properly.

I believe that my Lobster Claw wheels were also the same size, 19x8. I don't remember if I ran 35 aspect ratio or 40 for the Bridgestones.

They just mounted Michelin PS4S for me recently in 245/40R19 and 275/40R19, and that was no problem, but obviously the Michelins are not quite as stiff a sidewall as the Bridgestones.

That's what my guys @ Discount Tire PB told me. They said if I got them the 245s a day in advance, they'd leave them in the sun all day and pop 'em on at the end of the day. I haven't done it yet so I can't vouch for its success, but I will do it with my other pair of 245s after I wear out the 235s I put on when they couldn't get the 245s on in time for AX last month.
