That was a blast!
I drove 34 laps but I was a slacker, Daniel DiDeminco drove 70 in car #70.
At the start of the day, everyone was in grid and there was a bit of a traffic jam. It was a new thing and we had to figure out how to do it.
It took a little while to get the traffic flow down but once everyone figured it out, everything ran like clockwork.
Normally, at PCA AX events you get 12 laps before timed runs, with SCCA you get 10.
The course design was a bit different, a lot more open than normal, Sam Mayorga did a great job.
It was a challenging course with some interesting kinks.
It was probably just as fast as, if not faster than, any course I've driven at the Q.
We should do at least one of these every year.
