I think there are enough sandbags in this thread to build a dam!
Between the three of you, it sounds like you are lucky your cars even made it around the circuit!
Ooohhhh yea, I forgot, the sun was in my eyes too!

John, just weighed in the other day with a 1/2 tank of fuel, 2879. I am sure you car is under 2000 lbs, come on John.....

Thats with you in it right Kary? If your car isnt under 2700, I will eat a bug. And as for John's car being under 2000, no way. I would guess his wet weight to be 2,200-2,300. So John, how close am I?

Well I hope you are hungry David because that weight is without me in the car. So which Bug would you like to eat and when can I witness it?
On the weight issue, I only took out the interior and sun roof and radio. Then I added a fairly heavy full cage back. I still have all other amenities in the car like heat and air conditioning. I do not fudge my points like many cars I see out there, but I can understand how you might think my car is lighter than it is given all the misclassifications and missed points on so many cars, particularly those RS America's.

In that case, I feel most fortunate in having a car that is nearly as light at yours with zero done in the way of weight removal. You and Jad must be using the same lead wheels, because his carbon/kevlar 944-silhouette car weighs in somewhere near 2-tons!
Not sure you are as fortunate as you might think

David is spot on about my car. With gas, but without me, and with one seat, it's a little over 2300 lbs.
