At the POC Tribute to which you refer, You did a 1:55. I did a 1:52. I honestly never did more than 130 in T1 and T2 (lost my cajones with Kary a year earlier

). If you were doing 155 and I was doing 130, I musta lost several seconds (let's say 3) to you on that section of track (you could calculate this to an actual number based on the length of that section). Then, how did I make up 6 seconds on the other sections of track? You might have seen 150-155 for a flash of a second but I doubt it was for very long.
Well John....
A) It's not like I spent the entire time in the corner looking at my speedo. But when I did look at it, it read anywhere from the high 140's to 155, depending on how well I came out of 21 onto the straight (i.e. traffic).
B) You have 380HP and I have (if I am really REALLY lucky 295). Even if you take corners slower than I do (due to weight bias). The 3 long straights are more than enough to make up a couple seconds.
C) I think your 3 second estimate is a little high. What do you get up to on the straights? My 155 is my top speed. I get it there after start finish and keep it there as long as I can.
D) What am I 5 seconds behind Kevin? And he is in my class!?!? Can you make up 6 seconds a lap on me in a GT3? Ummmm.... yup! I'm sure if you've figured this out yet John, but your getting pretty good at this driving thing.... for an old guy
