Jim Copp's new trailer ramps.

Jim Copp has been a big help with many things on my car and trailer.
For a while now several of us track junkies have been using his custom made 6 foot trailer ramps.
Recently due in part to my new Simone re-body my Porsche has just a little less ground clearance.
Jim saw the cobbled wood ramp extensions I was getting by with and decided to do me better.
He basically used my old style ramp and added via hinge a middle taller ramp section.
Works great, and folds up perfectly while stored on the trailer door during transit.
Just what I needed.

Mike, Forgot to ask you today while I was there but do you have any issues with that nose get on the ramp initially? I already have ramps on my trailer but wondered what the initial entrance would clear as the front wheels get on the ramp. My ramps are lower since my trailer is lower so my incline is not as steep.

Hi Kary,
Yes, I place a 1" thick x 4"W x20"L wood plank on the ground before the ramp.
That gets the nose high enough to clear the initial slope of the ramp.
