Skateboard for sale

Dont look for Erik in the top spot this weekend due to a little skateboard accident. He managed to break three bones in his foot that required surgery. He would really like me to put hand controls on his go-kart so he can defend his six race win streak with San Diego Karting. We may get him down to the auto-x this weekend.

Mark,

To keep me safe my dad use to remove a wheel from my go kart and/or my dirt bike (depending on which one I was caught with driving thru the town at the time) and he hid it in the trunk of his car

Erik: Recover quickly.

And Martin hid a spare wheel under his pillow for when his dad took one.

Are you sure it wasn't Roland - Tonya Harding - Schmidt trying to get TTOD?

Broke his foot? A collar bone, a wrist, a forearm, sure. But a foot?

Hope he recovers quickly. Best wishes to the lad ..... how much for the skateboard (good "pit vehicle" at the big tracks  )?

oh sure...now that I may show up he 'happens' to break his foot...

Maybe I'll just wait until he's healed, so there won't be any excuses...

Get well quick Erik!...

Ahh skateboards, the orthopedic surgeon's best friend. Back in the dark ages (ceramic wheels)my skateboard injury was a dislocated shoulder.

Get well soon Erik.

Ceramic wheels, Pete? That's high-tech compared to my steel-wheels on a two-by-four. You had it good, Dude. I'm sure I wasn't the only one to take my skate-wheels off the old skate-shoes and nail 'em to a 2X4.

Ever try skateboarding an empty swimming pool on steel wheels avec 2X4? The result: a separated soulder and sprained wrist. (Geez, I'm old!)

Get well soon, Erik.
