Hmmmm. Pahrump, Nevada isn't that far from "North Idaho," is it? Knowin' the Killer Bee, anything's possible.

Let's see: we'll have a "Great White" in our midst, I wonder if we'll get "swarmed" as well?

Jim, once you get use to the gearing and the car overall John is going to have a tough time for sure, right John?

Frankly, Mikey, with what you've done to your car, you should leave the plywood on to give everyone else a chance!!!

Simone sez "Payne's got his wish, both fenders with Pimp My ride Boxes on them!" :D

Could it be the 911 solution to match the ultimate 944 50/50 balance?

Passenger side completed.

The driver side was ready first.
The prototype front fenders on the car had a lot of body work hours in them.
Too many to risk damaging them.
Now the heavy prototypes can be used as spares.
The new fenders from the new molds will be stronger and save a couple lbs.
If anyone needs +4 or +2 front or rear fenders (any FG part on my car for that matter) contact John Simone, he has the molds and makes the parts himself.
GOOD STUFF!

Don't worry Mike, the lead ballast I stuck in the car when I was there Wednesday will fix that nasty 50/50 wieght balance the pimp my ride boxes provide and return the car to the more neutral 30/70 that 911 drivers love to deal with :D

See you in Pahrump.

Heck that's how us 911 drivers get around and through the corners quicker, we don't have to restle with that 50/50 balance which does not provide any induced feedback

Yea, you really notice that when they pick up the F1 cars from the roll bar in the middle, they are just never hanging flat, the rear always drags along proving the vast superiority of the heavy rear end bias

So we have Jad and Jim Duncan hanging around at Simones lately? Interesting. So, do you guys just like hanging around with cool cars or do you have an announcement to make?

I didn't think beating you at Buttonwillow was going to have such an impression on you Jad. :P :D

Water-cooled? WHAT? Are you kidding me?! What sort of abomination are we talking about here? Will we allow this rolling pariah-mobile to compete with our purebred, air-cooled German machines?

What the he11 is wrong with these Duncan guys? Why can't they get with the air-cooled program?

Look Jad and Jim, here's how it works ok? You build an air-cooled motor and hope like he11 that for about $20-25k you can put 300-320hp to the ground. So you guys think you're all smart because you're going to spend half that amount and put more horsepower to the ground?

Oh wait a minute, you ARE smart! :bigcry:

Question is it OK to arrive at the track Friday after lunch and unload?

Anyway thought I'd share these pictures from the day today of the White Flash in it's almost finished stage.

Remember this picture, it was just three days ago!!!!

Image

First lay-up of new fenders in the molds last night at 2:30 Sat AM!
After de-mold and assembly/installation estimated weight 4 Lbs.
