915's must be made out of gold

Well, after Curt and I pulled the motor and trans the porsche trans guru has it apart. As a side note this is the guy who setup the suspension on the 996 cup car that almost won the toyo cup against the 997's (came in 2nd). Mainshaft broken, causing 2nd gear shift problem, 4th gear broken, also needs new sliders, dog teeth yada yada yada....$$$$$$$$$$$. Mechanic says I was lucky I didn't need a ring and pinion, had I driven it much longer that may have went as well. My mechanic sent the Porsche parts and price list and I about passed out. I guess my only solice is I did run the trans for 6 years after a $800 rebuild in 2001.... :D

Now all I need is a sponser to get my motor done and Jad is toast...

I think I need a new hobby...

Dan: think "Stock" class. It's a lot cheaper, and you can watch "others" spending BIG $$$$$ for little ribbons.
