Hey Dave and Dano you racers and all the PCA TT racers are always welcome to jump in for ride.

GPX at SOW is just a bunch of fun.

Speaking of neighboring PCA regions....
Andrew Forest the GGR PCA TT chair mentioned to me he is interested reinitiating the PCA TT Nor Cal meets So Cal rivalry from the decades past.
Something to consider for 08?
Imagine just twice a year Spring Mountain and Buttonwillow combined Zone events. :D
Winner take all, (in each class) New King(s) of all California Porsches! :D

Mikey,
You've got a beautiful car with great specs. Should be a real hottie on the track. The Bee and I look forward to seeing you out there sometime. JP

Looking forward to a combo DE/AX on Monday the 7th @ SOW. Based on what I read in another thread about the GPX Region event, it should be a great Monday of driving.

I hope I see other SDR members there... especially in IS class. I'll need to gauge my ability on how many seconds behind the other competitors I will be.

I'll be there. First time try at SOW, so it should be interesting! :D I like the idea of DE-type morning and then regular AX timed runs in the afternoon.

Mike,

I'll take you up on that offer for a ride. Next time we're at the track together I'll come and hunt you down. It will great to see how it's really done.

That would be a grat idea and starting at Buttonwillow would be easy as far as venues, but reconciling the different classes would be more complex.
Take a look at their car class system and you will see itis quite different than ours. Might have to default to PCA club race classes or something similar but would still be a fun event.
It might also be a good idea to invite Zone 7 to some of our events and also look at some of their events in the North like Thunderhill, Infineon or Laguna Seca.

Tom Tweed mentioned to me that where they had done this in years past they would alternate, one year Z7 rules next year Z8 rules....
Interesting concept, one that Andrew Forrest the GGR TT chair seemed very interested in. I'll be sure to give him contact info for Jack and Robert.
