Local DYNO Jet?

Postby Irksome on Wed Jun 13, 2007 5:54 pm

I'm looking for a San Diego county DYNO Jet. It needs to be that brand of dyno so we can gather the data and combine it with other runs from the same type of dyno.

This is for a 996 C2, so a 'normal' rear-wheel dyno is what I'm looking for.

Anyone have any referrals?

Thanks in advance!

A few years ago, I went with Keith V's RS America buddies to http://www.thedynoshop.com/ in Santee to dyno our cars.

JMC Motorsports on Ruffner has a dyno in Kearny Mesa and so does JBA(?)on Convoy right next to highway 52.
Give them a call to find out the model type.

Maybe it is time for another DynoShop tech session to see where the real horsepower is hiding 8)

Thanks guys!

I ended up using JMC Motorsports, even though they aren't a Dyno Jet brand dyno. Pretty nice setup they have, and the guy I worked with (Seth) was fantastic.

Unfortunately, we didn't get the results we were hoping for, but it was a good experience other than that. Great price, also, especially when you consider the knowledge and experience that Seth brought to the table.
