That's a Nice TRACK!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't done much with PCA yet, as I mostly do BMW Club events, but seeing that track, I'd be interested in building a SlotCar and coming to hang out with you guys.
What scale cars run on there? 1/24?

Hi Matthew,
Looking forward to having you over on the 20th.
This weekend I'll send you a private message with directions to my location.
We should have a nice group of experianced slot racers and first timers on Sautrday the 20th.
FYI Nationwide there are only 150 tracks in operation similar to this, maybe another 200 in storage.
The closest other tracks like this are located in Buena Park, Ventura and Las Vegas.
Here is what we are expecting for the the 20th.
This will be an open track day.
With 8 lanes everyone will have time to get on the track.
Together we can discuss future race dates and classes you want to run.
We expect to run (ANY CAR!) 1/24 scale Wing cars, GTP, GT1, Nascars, the new JK spec cars and the 1/32 scale cars too.
The new JK Products 1/24 spec class is an affordable $55 Cheetah 7 chassis with a Falcon 7 motor and Body ready to run.
These fun to drive cars run 4 to 5 second laps.
Falcon 7 motors last for hours and only cost $12.
We'll have 12 of these $55 cars available for purchase.
(6 of these have already been reserved/sold)
Along with a small supply of spare tires, braid and gears.
If you have a stainless chassis with a similar motor bring it down.
It is just for fun!
Earl Wilson is a local Nascar racer that travels to vairous tracks in So Cal and Vegas.
The 1/24 scale Nascar cars are similar except with more powerful motors.
They run a lap times in the high 3 or very low 4 second range.
These guys come prepared with larger pit boxes for spares and service work between races.
Earl will be looking for a good 3 second lap.
Joe Chevy our resident pro may try to set a new track record.
Last weekend he ran 3.1 with a 1/24 scale GTP bodied 12 motor car.
Joe normally races the open class Wing cars.
Come watch and we'll see if Joe's Wing car can re set his record with a screaming 2 second lap on the 135 foot long track!
There is a large following of 1/32 scale racers in San Diego.
These guys race very detailed replicas of real race and street cars.
Come check out all these very cool cars!
First timers are welcome to share a couple of my 1/24 practice cars,
We also will have plenty of spare controllers for your use too.
Just private message me for directions to my La Mesa location.
The track is located in my garage.
Please try not to disturb the neighbors.
No alcohol permitted during the event.
If you have a racer buddy that would like to join us just let me know.
Good luck racing,
Mike
