member profile update

Postby philipwitak on Tue Nov 06, 2007 1:08 pm

earlier this morning, i attempted to update my profile, and thought i had been successful in doing so. i entered the appropriately-revised information whereever it was necessary and then clicked the preview and submit buttons at the bottom of the page. but now, about three hours later, i'm beginning to wonder because nothing appears to have changed. i assumed the update would be instantaneous. is this correct?

can anyone shed some light on this for me?

The update should be immediate. There is usually an error message if it doesn't update. That message can be hard to see on the blue background at the top of the page. Try again and see what it says.

Glad to help. The hard part is getting this system to accept an avatar. :x

no kidding!

i've already spent about an hour this afternoon on three different images, cropping and resizing and recropping and re-resizing and by the time i'm finished, they're each sooooo small or compositionally compromised that none of 'em are even worth looking at.

i'll come up with something someday - just not today.

gotta hit the road now.
