Would this be legal at the last autocross?

Just wondering if a new Carver would be legal at the next "bring your other car" autoX. For those who haven't seen one here is a video clip:

The Carver site is at:

Unfortunately ... 25,000 Pounds Stirling is a lot for two (ah sorry three) wheels!

I wouldn't think so. It's not a car, it's a trike. Our rules say:

I-Q. All chassis and engines must be Porsche. All bodies must be production based Porsches other than class X. Cars other than Porsches may be allowed to enter in class X at their discretion of the event chairman. These cars must meet the same technical and safety requirements as Porsches.

Going by the letter of the rules, I would say that a 3-wheeled vehicle does not meet Porsche technical or safety specs. I would be reluctant to approve it in tech inspection, regardless of the fact that it seems to have a safety cage and driver restraints (from their website.)

There is a specific prohibition against 2 and 3 wheel vehicles in SCCA Solo events, and it would not be allowed there, either.

At $50,000, it strikes me as being extraordinarily expensive as well.
