It's looking even better this morning! It could be dry until late afternoon, even early evening, possibly.

If the weather report calls for rain in the early evening, would we consider getting timed runs done early tomorrow, and allowing for practice runs after? I would hate to be halfway thru timed runs and have it start raining.

I could see us doing this by reducing to 3 practice laps per session, and then maybe having additional practice/fun runs after we get the timed runs in the bag?

Personally I hate wasting rubber, too!

Your suggestion is well worth considering and the AX team is chatting about it ...

But don't expect any decision until tomorrow in the early AM.

Perry--

Can you tell me who is the team that would make the decision on the timed runs? I saw that Irk made a suggestion and I am glad that you and the AX team are "chatting" about it.

I know that you are important when it comes to PCA-SDR AX's---I didnt know how important until you mentioned that---- even if you got into a wreck on the way to an event that the whole club could be held liable. I think I can speak for everyone and say that we are very lucky to have someone like you taking the lead in thinking out situations like these.

if I were to slide and hit some beater truck on the way here and I AND PCA-SDR got sued for 10 Trillion dollars

I am really glad you are thinking ahead and protecting yourself and the club. God help us if you got injured. I know that you and the team are doing all you can to provide a safe a fun event for the others lucky enough to be a part of this club.

I know that you are an instructor and are very busy organizing the AX's and keeping PCA-SDR afloat but, maybe you could give me some driving tips....as you know I am just a beginner-----I am confident that I could benefit from some of your deep knowledge.

We will all eagerly wait for your announcement. I know that whatever you decide will be best for the club and its members.

Hehe! I wasn't worried about wasting the rubber, I've already written that off! I was just thinking that it would suck for only half of the groups to get dry conditions and the other half either have it canceled or try to compete in wet conditions. ;)

See y'all in the morning, rain or shine, and hopefully we're all more friendly in person than we are on the forums...

Wow, just wow. I'm glad that people are looking out for the club also. But really, do you think that that would have any teeth? Come on. In no way is the clubs fault that you crashed on the way to the event.
