I am not sure who submitted this but it is hard to believe it was done independent of this discussion.

I still haven't seen you or Gary propose any specific rule change, just rants against Hoosier tires.


I actually thought rule submission was much later in the year. And what's the use of submitting a rule with no chance of being accepted. I've already done that. My intent was to gauge any interest in the idea, before submitting. How did I know this was going to turn into a bloodbath.
The rule already submitted is much better worded and the rationale is much more clear than I could have ever done. I think this gives older cars the space to experiment, and a place to stay. And occasionally venturing into the competition tire division.
