Factory Visit

Postby mhknapp on Sun Jun 01, 2008 1:12 am

Does anyone know if the factory is open on Saturdays, and if there is anything special you have to do to visit. I'm in a lille town about 200 miles south of Stuttgart and plan on visiting next weekend - then the weekend after - Nurnberg!! - Only have a 220 diesel - but I may never get the chance again ;-]

I was in Stuttgart in '05 and it was closed Holidays and weekends. I went to the museum, but could not get in to the factory, even though I had PCNA contact them for me.

Don't know about now.

As of our last experience, factory tours needed to be scheduled, and were booked several months in advance.
However, the museum is great and there are Porsches everywhere, including the largest dealership I have ever seen that is about 1/2 mile from the museum.

Best of Luck in getting in. I am told it is fantastic. :D

I have been on the factory tour, but I planned it about 9 months in advance.
