The pre-registration form is not yet modified to show the DE date on July 27th. You can send it in and just mark it for the DE. The price is $60 pre-reg, $80 day of event. We'll try to get the form updated soon.
Also, I'm not sure where the "no corner-worker" information came from. Neither of the DE chairs is aware of this change from our regular format. Maybe there is something we haven't heard yet, but we are planning on having paid corner-workers.

Curt,

Good news about the corner workers. That makes the day go better for everyone. (especially Leigh and I). :D

July 27 DE (Sunday)

Postby ChuckS on Tue Jul 15, 2008 5:01 pm

Another Reminder!
The July 27 DE should be a great one! :D
Be sure to Pre Register before Tuesday, July 22 at Midnight to get the great $60 rate. :) It goes to $80 from July 23 until the event.
For your $60 you get in excess of 1 1/2 hours of seat time and potentially up to 2 hours(in 20 minute continuous lapping sessions) vs less than 20 minutes total at an AX (vs less than 4 minutes at an SCCA AX) AND YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CORNER WORK!! Instructors are available.

Fax or mail your pre-reg form in today!

If you have questions, please email Curt or Chuck at de@pcasdr.org or give us a call.

July 27 DE

Also, due the increase in cost for use of the Stadium lots, this may be the last time we can hold this event for the $60 rate!

Chuck, we gotta get out there and mix it up a bit. Lay out a fast(ish) course and we can have a ball!

We have a special contract with favorite track designer Gary Burch and have been guaranteed a "fast(ish)" track that will favor Chuck's car over Lucky Dave's. It's a perk of being the DE Chair.

Speaking of which, we are looking for another person to join Jan Mellinger as DE chair for 2009. If you have some interest, just let Chuck or me know. We provide on the job training and full support. Something in the range of 2-4 DE's per year, with no timing or corner working issues, and all kinds of help from really good people. It's really quite a lot easier than the AX chair job, which is why we have been doing it. You, think about it!

If only I had the time. Let's see (dreaming) every track layour tuned perfectly to my car so I can humble everyone else.....

but of course I'd end up breaking my car with wrenches just before that weekend....AGAIN.

Chris:
If you have any questions about your registratiojn, you can contact PREREGQ@pcasdr.org. Generally, if you send in the fax, everything runs pretty smoothly after that.
Thanks,
Curt
