Looked like a great course. Excellent Job Erik! looks like even with all the extra ponies and stick it didn't help poor Steve E..... :shock:

It was the longest course I can remember.
Did anyone get a course length?

Definitely one of the best tracks I've run in my short history (20 events or so). I loved how it had speed, tight twisty, elevation challenges, braking tests, and slalom elements. The top 10 had a great mix of high/low power, mid- and rear-engine, old and new, low mod and heavily prepped.

That was a real easy track to screw up on - and I really felt good when I had a good run. Lots of things you had to think way ahead about if you wanted to do well.
Excellent track - please bring it back again!

What he said.
The length and speed variety of the track was a real plus, it made it much harder than our usual layouts to learn (that's a GOOD thing, we're suppposed to improve our overall driving ability, and track learning skills are as important as lift'n drift skills) and rewarded those who can think three or four corners ahead.
That makes a track layout like this an equalizer. The older, more experienced drivers are used to thinking ahead more than the young newbies are, but with all those corners.....they can't remember!

Bring on this layout again. Not only was it a great track, but did a fine job of making the most out of the crumbling lot, only one corner had to be moved, rare lately.

Great track!! One of the longest that I can remember and Jackie really mixed it up. She had a little bit of everything in this one. It's been a lot of fun driving the Boxster again for the last two events.

Thanks to OCR for coming down for the D&G challenge. Looks like we've evened up the series.

Steve E must be feeling quite a bit older today after being worked over by Erik. Congrats! :beerchug:

very soon I hope. 17's are done and just need to mount tires and check clearence. Besides if I show up Erik won't make TTOD... :shock:

I was hoping someone with a GPS would post the real length. I used my odometer and the track length was around 1.1 miles (including the hot pits in the loop - start to start distance).

The course length was 5554.5 feet.
