Nice Videos martin.
Why are you lifting before 6? :)

By the way if everone is looking for official times, there has been an issue with teh TT times and the timing team is trying to fix that.
Times wil be posted sometimes this week.

I was downshifting for six. Are you saying that you were flat through there? If so, very impressive!

Kris: It ss a joke.
All day Fri, Gunter and I were debating slowing down before 6 cause it works on Gran turismo ;)
In one of the sessions, he was behind me and I decided to go flat out through it.
Let me just say it wasn t pretty :)
The car turned in and held but the depression at the apex unsettled the suspension and I went on a ride.
I didn t end up in the gravel but I left a BIG rubber S on the track :)
Was worth trying though as there is at least .5 secs to be gained right there.
I guess Gran Turismo doesn t have the dip at the Apex.

Regarding the timing data from Laguna--normally it's up on MyLaps.com within 24 hrs. But, apparently there are some problems with the data which have to be corrected manually before sending to MyLaps.com. Laurie and Paul are going through all of it now and promise to have it on MYLaps soon. Sorry for the delay --they know we all want to see it ASAP. With luck, end of day today. Worst case, end of week.
BTW, I'm having major problems adjusting to life away from Laguna Seca this week. Still thinking about the event, you guys, the race, fun times my wife and I had in Carmel with POC friends. Hard to get back to reality.
Anyone else having this problem?

Looks like a great weekend! It's on my calender for next year.

Very curious as to how tires and brake pads lasted for the weekend. Anyone running r6's for timed runs?

Hoosier R6 worked great for me, as always. Sheila was on them, too. I'm sure there were others.

David G. tried A6 because the track was so smooth, but they didn't appear to be any faster. :?: Paul Y., did you run A6, as well?

It was probably the driver and not the Hoosier A6's that were the same as the R6's. I did manage my fastest lap during timed runs, just not fast enough.

Track was very very easy on tires.
I had some old worn out RA1s for the first session on Friday AM to figure out the track and decided to run on them all day
Track surface is extremely smooth.
A stiff suspension and soft tires are a must on this track.
No bumps except for a depression at the apex of T6.

Results have been posted on Mylaps but for some reason they do not look accurate.

Everything looks right except the White Merge.

It looks like there are no Timed results for White or Yellow TT run groups.

Does anyone know how Ted did with his 914-6 concerning noise? I loaded him my trick noise covers for his carbs.

He didn t have any issue with noise as far as I know but you should have shared a trick to pass the broomstick rule :)
I think he had issue with his rollbar being too low.

Don't get too excited: all those red group racers that were attempting to set class records entered the TT, too. The chances for a top 10 are very slim indeed.
