Is that right, Jack?

Cheers!

No POC w/PCA. What's this "we" stuff? I don't have a registration from you. Should I? Hope you can join "us."

My silver '73 AM car? I am not sure. At the rate I am going, it will probably be done by the end of next year. If I'm lucky. :(

Scared? Scared is going into to T1 at Cal. Speedway @ 130MPH with your competitor on your left quarter panel and seeing... smoke! And it's getting thicker. Is that little black line right where I heading oil? Let's see no steering input. Hmmm.. I'm drifting straight up into the wall right where that BMW is. Yup, must have been oil. This is going to suck!!!

Cliffs? Track dropping away? Humph. Bring it on!

I came through right behind him. Yeah, that was a pretty wild ride. I ended up losing a postion because of it and was never able to get it back :banghead: .

Actually, a couple laps before that someone had dropped coolant (or something) in the same place (no smoke or Bimmer as a warning). T1 & T2 are still a little too scary for me to go through in a full drift. So when I started experiencing *massive* understeer (heading for the marbles and then the wall) I puckered, and then puckered some more.

Well, you looked good out there surrounded by all those Beezeemers. I was kind of thinking I would rather be out there than watching, but there was a fair bit of carnage going on. Speaking of pucker, my sled can hit around 155-160 going into turn 1, needless to say I have not had the cajones to keep the pedal to the metal through 1 and 2.

I can keep the pedal down through 1 and 2 with my car but tht is 140mph. I could not imagine 155 to 160

I road in a GT3 that was entering turn 1 at 155mph and I told him to slow down...mainly because I was a passenger :o

I did not have the guts to keep the pedal flat this past weekend. I do not think the A032R's had it in them. Or I just could not read this tire as well as I could read the Toyo's. Either way I am done with Yoko's. Back to Toyo's or (gulp, God forbid) Kuhmo's. Or I may go the other direction and bite the bullet and spring for some Hoosiers.

All-in-all, it was a fun weekend. I heard from quite a few spectators that the Club Race's were more fun to watch than were the pro's. I know I gave them something to ooooh and aaahhh about in T9 (more than once).
