The event was thrown -- that means 5 points for all, for participation. No results will be posted as official timing was suspended because we ran out of daylight.

I know we all got 5 pts, but the competetive spirit will not be denied.

How's about BRI numbers?

Can't really have a BRI if there was no timing for the last three run groups.

There was timing enough to establish that OCR beat SDR on BRI. I think the difference is the timing was not official, as in, did not count towards points. I know I saw times reported after the announcement that this would be a no-points event.

Since it was all in the spirit of fun, we let OCR take the glory.

However, for the last three run groups, while we did TRY to record times as best we could, there were NO cones reported (thus no penalties for hitting cones), and we had reports that many cones were out of place. So - a real fast run could have had a couple of cones knocked down and/or been through a "corner" that wasn't quite as challenging as for the first three groups. I would view all the times in the last three groups as "approximate".

Now - fresh year, fresh competition.

Thanks Kim - Now I understand why we're missing the results, unofficial though they may be.

Bring on the 2009 season!
