Looks like President Gardner has successfully completed his first Grand Am race at Miller Motorsports Park this weekend. I heard he was driving a Brad Roberts prepared Spec Boxster. Anyone have any news updates?
Yep. It's all true. They qualified 14th on the grid, ran as high as 9th, and finished 15th. Car and all body parts are accounted for. Go Dave Gardner! Team owner/co-driver Chris Prey was the 2007 winner of Setup reality TV series on Speed channel. This team is really just getting started so look for good things to come.

Pretty close to spec But not quite.. 2004 2.7L 986 on Koni's and Hoosier Grand Am tires. Dave did a fantastic job for a being a "rookie" amongst the other pro's
Better tell the guy checking the corner balance in the first picture, that it may be a little off in the right rear
Also, "ironman" Dave or "arrive and drive" Dave, finished the Grand Am, then caught a flight with Brad to Cal Speedway where Dave's son had brought his car and had it ready for Dave to hop in and qualify for the POC race.
Must be nice!
