Thanks, but with 82 people preregistered as of yesterday, I see LOTS of people that should be faster than me Saturday. :(
I guess my dreams of getting into the Top 10 will have to wait... :bigcry:

A few years ago you dressed up as a cone. Are you afraid someone might hit you dressed as a cone? :roflmao:

that was an awesome costume, especially after we added the tire tread to it. Sadly, it's been hit too many times and now lives in the trailer with the rest of the disabled cones

Many thanks to Bill, Jerry, et all for managing to set up a fast-ish nicely flowing track using only half the lot.
Suffering the all-too-usual stadium management wrench thrown in the works didn't slow you guys down one bit, and the track you put together was a bunch of fun....

The AX team (Don Middleton, John Komer and myself) want to recognize all the folks who arrived early and pitched in without much direction to suddenly set up the venue in a different area of the lot. It was great to see it all come together smoothly and we got 17 laps in too!!Another fun day.

Fun day yesterday at the Q. Thanks to the autox team for the quick ad lib course design changes (nice sweepers). A Big Thanks also to Kim C for the co-drive! It was good to share thoughts and tips on the course. To bad Kim had a minor issue with a cone or two at the finish (that door was open for top ten on street tires! even TTOD was a possibility) With 3 plus straights, it paid dividends to brake early into the turns preceding them.

Bill, we should also recognize those who helped make that special effort at the end of the day (when we are really tired and just want to have a beer) to get the trailer packed and back into storage. Lorri, Dan and host of others helped us wrap up the day in style. And, then, Mark drove off into the sunset to put the trailer to bed for the evening. Thanks to all...

We came by after our last race, but I guess you weren't there on Sunday. You missed a good race over on the kart track!! Isabella was hit on the side pod on the 2nd turn of lap 1 and was spun putting her in dead last in a class of 11. Good thing it was a 16 lap race, because despite the damage, she was able to charge through the field and ended up finishing 4th. We're confident she would have been somewhere on podium without the spin as she was only 8 seconds off the 3rd place finisher and after looking at the "Mylaps" times, she was over a second quicker per lap than that guy.
