Hate to knock anbody that is bucking CA, but how can 40 odd states all score in the bottom 50 percent?
CA does always deserve the last place for car friendly, but I don't want to move to Montanna my friends.... boo whoooo..

Jim, I think you read this chart too quickly. It does not say that 40 states are the worst. It only gives you a color coding to show where states rank. i.e. the ten best are yellow, the ten worst are red.
Not moving to Montana? Don't you want to be a dental floss tycoon? (you are probably too young and not a Frank Zappa fan to get that joke)
