Thank you Robert and your host of helpers for another great TT! If you didn't make it, you missed a great weekend. Perfect racing weather, a new configuration at Streets and exciting track time at Big Willow (video to follow later).

Thank you Steve for all the work on the car. It obviously worked. :D

Thank you Jackie for pushing so hard and making me bring up my game.

Thank you Phil and Jackie for the great hospitality at "Camp Corwin".

This is shaping up to be a great year. :burnout:

 I concur! Thank you Robert, Phil, Jackie et al. The event was run safely and efficiently, the weather gods blessed us, and good times were all around. The Boxster brothers felt very welcomed.
P.S. Smokin' times there Mr. Rondeau

Robert,

Amazing work, running the event by yourself, getting the times up VERY quickly, and even having all the results from both events posted before we even got home

Not to mention, nice driving and cool TT series shirts.

THANKS.

What a great time!! Robert ran a fantastic 3 day event  Never seen better weather at Willow Springs, the competitive was fierce (I especially loved the smack talk Jackie was given Mark R., and the cold, hard stare down he gave back) and the camaraderie was even better. Thanks to Phil and Jackie for the hospitality. Looking forward to the next event :beerchug:

Thank you Robert for another flawless event. Yes, spectacular weather, great camaraderie and exciting competition.

My apologies  for messing up the timed runs for a few of you with my messy SPINS  at turn 3 due to my over exuberance. Believe me, the grief that comes with it is plenty of punishment :banghead: Those of you that have been through that know it well.

See you at Fontana for another slug fest.

Otto! You "Andrew'ed" turn 3? :nono: Oh man! How embarrassing (like the many times I've done the same  ).

Sorry I missed a great weekend of driving and friendship. Next year, by golly.

Robert:

Wow, great weekend. I've been missing out. Thanks for an extremely well run event. Everyone was smiling. :D

Well, except maybe for Mark Rondeau  as Jackie dished out the smack-talk  . But Mark brought his game and spanked her, so the universe was in balance at the end of the day.

Camp Corwin was the hospitality suite, and top level, as usual. :beerchug:

There was wonderful instruction going on and I'm thankful to John Payne, Gunter Enz, Jad Duncan and Ron Palmer for helping me get to only 3/4 second behind Peter Busalacchi. If it takes that many fast guys to get you to only second place, it's clear there is still some work to be done. And, with the Avitt's now driving Bernie Bogard's old GT3 and Ed McRae in a new-to-him 996 GT3, I foresee a great RS/GT3 class coming up. Hey, anyone for Spec GT3?

I was really lucky to instruct Jeff Doran for two days in his 1975 911S. This guy is going to be trouble if he's in your class. I've never seen such balance, awareness, car sensitivity, and control in a rookie, not to mention courage in turn 9. I'm predicting some pretty good things here. Buy his stock now while it's low. :burnout:

The RSR guys got a bunch of nice comments for helping out folks with troubled cars. Thanks!

And thanks to everyone who attended for making it a great weekend.

Sounds like you guys had an amazing time. I'm looking forward to getting a few more AX's under my belt so I can head up for these events.

Jeff and I took the PDS together and he's definitely an excellent driver. Looking forward to seeing the results.

I also have to add my apologies to everyone for taking out the apex cone in turn 9 during time runs. I know how important it is to see that cone to get a good run down the straight. Unfortunately, I had a "OH SH**!" moment and took it out with the DRIVER side front bumper. Good thing we don't get 2 second penalties for cone killing in TT events.

This was a really great event... The comradery and PCA family attitude is what really came across to me. People sharing track knowledge, parts, tools and smack talk.

We have some pretty great pictures and video for the next Motorhead Monday.
Like me cruising down the front straight in Greg's 928 at 120 mph and getting the paint sucked off the car by the "Killer Bee" as I gave him the point by. When I showed the video Saturday night everyone in the room jumped out of there seat. Nice that John doesn't make you lift to pass and ruin your flying lap.
It looks like I was parked on the side of the road.

Really great weekend and can't wait until Fontana.
