Had a fun day at the Q. Watched some excellent driving yesterday! Spec and GP had great competition. After being in a GP car yesterday, it's very tempting to join the crowd. What fun cars to drive.

Do you have any pics of Kim Crosser schooling the LSS class?

Oh, wait. Never mind. I know what that looks like.

The fight in 944 this year is going to be a good one. Build a car Carl... it's cheap. It will save you money and make you a better driver. :burnout: I want to see Tim's rear out there.

In this economy, I am always into saving some money. And of course I am always up for improving, or as my kids would say "I'm down" for that. Yes, where is Tim?

Talking about Tim, I think it was around the beggining of 06 that I started renting Tim's zebra 924. Basically, my first porsche ride. Tim, taught me a lot about driving, and how to drive a 924/944. To drive it correctly grasshopper, is to master the art of throttle steering. First session or so I would always drive with no throttle steering. He would say, "what are you doing, this is not the Mercedes" With his help I would start throttle steering and by the end of the day i would be start lifting off throttle at corner entry and just slightly turning the wheel to turn. What a great feeling it is to time that drift just right! The car to drive is it's own animal. Its tough to beat the handling. Very different from the Boxster on A6's, as its all about maintaining grip.

Maybe I could test that water again. Maybe a rental co-drive? Sean? Mark? Competion? Just need to remember throttle steering. Yesterday, I was helping Toby and did a lap or two, but tried to drive it like a boxster and maintain grip.
By the way you guys and ah girl rocked out there. All the top ten or so Bri's did very well too. Kim was on a war path, Eric, 113.9 Jeezz, And Sean, so close to top ten!
