No water or ice at AX?

Foks - when I made the "heads up" announcement at the AX drivers meeting about possible cost cutting needs (due to the huge drop in the clubs income due to the economy) I never said water would be eliminated. Always GOTTA have at least water.

Anyway, working out some club budget strategies, it looks like we can keep the during and after AX drinks as is. :D :beerchug:
Things should be resolved at the next board meeting.

While an easy solution, many folks do not want to raise the AX entry fee for a number of reasons that I can't type well enough to explain here.

Are there any volunteers for Beermeister? (about 4 cases an AX)
Any volunteers for Coffeemeister? (about $48 at Starbucks)
Purchase, bring to AX, give me the receipt and I send you a check!
A great way to be a club volunteer (with minimal effort!) and you get to select the taste choices! (though please, no Keystone or Lucky Lager!) :beerchug:

Let them bring their own beer and supply non-alcoholic drinks.

Just my $.02

I couldn't agree with you more! water, ice & gatorade are especially important to our participants during some of our really hot summer events! we spent all these years advising drivers, volunteers & corner workers to stay hydrated but now take that away? I would rather see the beer & wine cut out of the budget before I see someone suffer from dehydration at a PCASDR event.
