951 brakes question

A place to hang out and discuss all things Porsche.

No offense taken at all. Just having some fun. When I help people out I don't expect them to come running to me when they need work done. I like to be able to get people pointed in the right direction just as we have done here. I am sure the boys in the forest will take good care of you.

It sounds like a Vac. issue which is really the best thing you could have found (cheap & easy)

Good Luck

You must be joking? The thank you for PCNA is a calendar? I was sort of expecting a cut of that money made on currency hedging; maybe to the tune of a small gift certificate for P-parts. I guess the "un-usable" calendar will have to do, but I havent even received it yet (perhaps they have something bigger in mind for me???). By the way, JC or JD, have you received a reimbursement for hotel yet?

Oh yeah, sorry to hijack your thread. By the way, good zing about Martin's car Steve!

Didn't you get your thank you from Sharapova???

We didn't stay in a hotel, just drove up for the day. Remember, in the Porsche world, the calendar is a $50 gift! Not bad for racing other peoples 'cars' and hanging out with the best women tennis players in the world 8) . Also, don't forget the t-shirt and hat, though GT3's would definitely have been much nicer :D

Jad,
Besides the T shirts, I really liked the long sleeved red shirts that they gave out at the end of the day, then there's the screen saver attached to the calendar which is nice. In the form letter, I got the impression we might be invited back next year. Hope that comes to fruition.

You'll have to beat my wife this weekend. You'll know it's me when you hear me screaming SLOW DOWN from the passengers seat.

How many seconds are you going to spot her Martin?

It turns out that the pads were just crap, no name stock pads. Put some new Mintex - Ctec's on and it made a world of difference. Breaking them in slowly, now when brake from 120mph+, it doesn't take 1/4 mile to stop :D
