IMPORTANT Clarification in Fire Extinguisher rule for DEs

Postby SDGT3 on Fri Apr 02, 2010 4:00 pm

For those with enough autocrosses/PDS school experience to qualify for DEs, Tom Brown has clarified the rule for "Fire Extinguishers" mounted in a car. Up until this year, a FE was required for all cars participating in DEs. Although, always a good idea to have one, the rule has been modified to exclude all cars in the SS (Street Stock) and S (Stock) Classes. So if the thought of drilling holes in your interior or mounting a bracket was keeping you away from such events, take another look and think about participating in the PCASDR DE coming up in 5 weeks time on Saturday, May 8th. You'll find the link in the calender section of home page to our website.
