If it wasn't for Brent Kish, I probably never would have tried the 255-40R17 x 245-45R17 Victoracers. But, it actually works pretty good on the RSA. Maybe better than the taller and heavier 275 rear, plus less points and money. And these 911's have a little oversteer problem you may have heard about.
On a side note to anyone reading this, I was hoping that Gerry Gutierez up at Discount Tire would get a tire shaver so that we could take advantage of Kumho V700's and also the Toyos that are popular. He said he wants one, but that he also has to convince the man that it is a worthy investment. He's definitely working on it. So, if you see him let him know to try hard, or think of a way to make a business case for him.
