A quick question:

Is the Friday night session for all participants, or just the students that will be with an instructor?

Friday night is just for the students being introduced to DE.

We were going to have RETII run in the opposite direction as the rest of us.
That will really spice things up :roflmao: :roflmao:

This is the last weekend to register

Martin I'm glad I get the full track!!! I thought I was being restricted to only the RED area's on the map and was about to contact the ALCU and scream discrimination. :banghead: :banghead:

The red kink on left?
Can that be (removed :?: ) made wide and open enough to help us stay in the power band in 2nd gear?
My Q DE prep, removed the front tie down hooks to limit swale scraping.
Is the track width of the corners on a DE track typically wider than AX turns?
Looking forward to to some fun Type 2 left foot trail braking practice.

Some questions:

Where is the map available for download?

What direction will we be running?

Will we need numbers on our cars?

What time will tech be?

Is there a schedule for the whole day yet?

Will the roach coach be there?

Thanks,

Thanks,

A letter to all registrants will be e-mailed to everyone about the event on Monday, but here is some info to tide you over:

We will be running clockwise. The lower left area red in the map is where we will let the cars on track, lower right is pit in. The red chicane is just that a "CHICANE". We want to slow everyone down for that section on purpose. There are enough fast areas of the track to keep everyone happy, but we needed to put that in for safety reasons.

Tech will be at 7:00 a.m. and all cars will need numbers, but no class designation is necessary.

A schedule similar to the one we ran at Fontana's infield in May will be forwarded to all participants as well as the aforementioned information letter/packet.

No roach coach. Lunch is included in the entrance fee and will consist of a sandwich and chips.

As the title states, the weather is supposed to be unbelievably cool for this time of year so it's going to be a pleasant day for everyone.

Just a reminder, please tech your cars now and don't wait for the day of. If you fail the on site tech inspection for whatever reason, it's going to ruin your day. Finally, please consider fresh brake fluid before this event.

Another question: if there is a CHICANE in the uphill straight will there be only 1 (one) passing area on the track? Or will there be passing in the inside of the "tooth"?

(...And for those who want to chime in with: "What are you worried about passing for, Dan ... your too slow, anyway!" :roflmao: [Yeah, Mark Rondeau, I'm talkin' to you, Bra!] ... Check your mirrors, smarty-pants! Hint: Hoosiers will be on the car. )

Two more questions:

Are the green areas on the map passing zones? Will different run groups have different passing rules?

Were can I find a list of pre tech stations?

Thanks,

An information packet was e-mailed to all that are entered. We are running CW and the green areas are the passing zones.

The usual approved shops are listed on the information packet including one of the school's sponsors, Mirage International.

We hope to have answered all the questions with the packet sent out, but if we've missed anything, please feel free to e-mail us with your questions.
