Coronado Vintage Races. Wow! What a wonderful event. So many wonderful people, so many beautiful cars. The tent and tables, right next to the track, looked great. The 944 GTR Fabcar racer of David Loynd at our front door looked, well, racy. The sounds of the race cars, the smell of tires and fuel. Did you every notice how we are always in front of the Ferrari's? It's as it should be. It was another great day for PCASDR.
The Vintage Racing Committee of John and Monique Straub, Kaid Marouf, Joe Hofman, John Bell, Katie Kinninger, Chuck Sharp and Don Middleton pulled off another "must attend" annual race weekend. Thanks to Steve Snedeker for manning the Goodie Store for the benefit of thousands. Thanks to Rich Fatuzzo, Larry Bevins, Phil Corwin, Mark Kinninger, Membership chair Angela Avitt and many others for pitching in wherever needed.
If you know anyone with even a passing interest in cars, this should be on their list for every year. Take your favorite neighbor, niece, or nephew. The true faithful are already there. I can't wait for next year.
