AX 10/2...Porsche vs. BMW????

Postby AGill on Mon Sep 27, 2010 1:34 pm

Wow, looking at the registration list for the AX this weekend I was shocked at how many BMWs are coming out, don't think I've ever seen so many! Glad they are signing up and helping make the event profitable (hopefully) but if we don't get some more regulars signed up we might be outnumbered! C'mon guys, go sign up! :burnout: Should be some fun racing and a good way to compare our p-cars to several differen models of BMWs.

Mr. Auten...please post the track map when you have it all drawn up. I'm looking forward to what you come up with...hopefully that darn beer garden tent is not up...that thing always impedes on one of the fasterst parts of the track :banghead:

EXACTLY!

In prep for designing this track I asked folks here to post their favorite track section. Then I tried to replicate them as best as I could given the limitations of the lot. The Slalom was the only section I really didn't like, but it seems to be "a required item" :x Maybe when we are setting the track on Friday I can convince the team to just put a BIG STRAIGHT there?

Whaddya think?

BTW, I just drove past the Q and the Charger tents are up and taking over part of the parking lot. You're track experience may differ substantially from the posted track map. :banghead:

Mark, you miss-spoke: it's not "...taking over part of the parking lot." It's actually " ... taking over most of the parking lot." FYI.

Good thing the price for the lot didn't go down. :banghead:
