Thanks for posting the results Martin. It was a great course! We need to see that cool Cayman of yours at an AX soon!

Interesting to see the 2011 modified Boxster Spyder was running in IS class with a 1.027 BRI factor. No wonder TC Kline finished 2nd place in the BRI. I think his car was more of a NS or even NP class vehicle. :?:

He was running club racing class. He didn't want to change it as he wasn't running for points and didn't want to upset the novices. Cool car and pretty cool guy as well!

Wow. Those were some impressive times listed for the TTD. I was kinda surprized to see TC Klines, flashy 2011 Boxter Spyder with a BRI rating of 1.027. Seems like it would have been higher.

And thanks for the amazing and exciting track, Mark. I can hardly wait for your next masterpiece!

Best to all!

Isn't that what X class is for?

If he had been running in NS (assuming only 8 points - hmmm?), He would have been 10th in BRI.

Someone should have caught that or brought it to the attention of someone who knew.
If that car was 100% stock it would be NSS, but since it is modified all the cool spyder stuff gets counted for points.
That car is NP (at least) and should have been classed as NP unless he really wanted to stay out of rankings and go into X.

Responsibility falls with the driver first and foremost, whoever teched him and then whoever registered him.
What's done is done, but I am sure we won't miss that one again.

I guess nobody caught it because he was the only one in that class. If there had been another car in class, I'm sure it would have been brought up during the day.

I just want to give Morgan Trotter a huge wow on that drive.
I watched him carefully to see what he was doing that I wasn't (from the pits) and shaved an addional .5 seconds off my offical time.
(Just not telling what the difference was)

I was telling myself it was his bigger stickier tires; but I guess I proved myself wrong.

That's why I love the competition in this club.
I makes us all want to drive better.

No one's accusing pre-reg of doing anything wrong. The email you sent out went to CDI's, registration and tech inspection (not Steve). It would be almost impossible to class most cars from pre-reg info. Car classes should be verified during the day. If someone wants to run without disturbing other classes, they should run in X class. In this case, it slipped through the cracks because there was no other car/driver in that class. If there had been, they would have quickly noticed that there was a really fast car in their class that shouldn't have been.

(scratching Jackie gently behind ears and pouring a bowl of milk)
