It would be almost impossible to class most cars from pre-reg info. Car classes should be verified during the day. If someone wants to run without disturbing other classes, they should run in X class. In this case, it slipped through the cracks because there was no other car/driver in that class. If there had been, they would have quickly noticed that there was a really fast car in their class that shouldn't have been.

My pointing was intended for improvement not ridicule.
If Mark drives the entire course in 1st gear I am going to tell him to try 2nd and maybe 3rd next time.
Because I want to see him and the club grow as a whole.

Morgan, Awesome drive!! that car has been FAST right out of the box. I got to drive it on its first event after being built and was very impressed :D . I believe we owe you a TTOD yellw jersey. My dad won it last event. It will be at Black Forest starting tomorrow so you can add your name to the TTOD list  , i'm sure it won't be the last time

Hopefully we can make the next event, would make for a heated BRI battle :burnout:

Keith are you getting confused with the BRI trophy? You won BRI at the last Event with some smoking fast runs and excellent driving. My dad got TTOD for that event, i saw the yellow jersey at my house this morning. just trying to send it to it's new owner, Mr Trotter

I watched him carefully to see what he was doing that I wasn't (from the pits) and shaved an addional .5 seconds off my offical time.
(Just not telling what the difference was)

I was telling myself it was his bigger stickier tires; but I guess I proved myself wrong.

That's why I love the competition in this club.
I makes us all want to drive better.

+2. Really great driving. To get a wuppin' of 5-seconds in the same class ... [yes, I said FIVE SECONDS ... (ow, ow, ow! :banghead: )] is beyond embarrassment. At that point, you just sit down and start taking notes.

I was so impressed I was beyond hurting at the end of the day. Just in awe. Truly great performance, Morgan. (Now, where'd I put that 3.0 engine? )

Dan-that is exactly why we went with a relatively stock 3.0L build...
If you stuff a 3.6L in there you are going to get zero excuse sympathy.

As for me:
I was on old 225/245 RA-1's
I haven't been sleeping well lately.
My right calf had a cramp and I coluldn't press the gas all the way down.
The new suspension is a bit stiff for AX.
I have put on a few extra pounds lately.
I was running on pump gas.
I left the passenger seat in to make it fair for Chambers.
I had too much wing in it.
Mike Avitt was screwing with my tire pressures.

Thanks for all the kind words, I really had a lot of fun. I'm glad we made it down there for the event. Ill probably not drive at the next event as my car situation is a little wishy washy now (still breaking in a new engine and the other car is in many pieces)

Ill be at the next event in the morning to drop off the BRI Trophy and Jersey.

Mark, Would you be so kind as to drop off the Jersey at C2 Motorsports? they are right around the corner from you on Vickers street.

Thanks, I wont be in San Diego until ... maybe 2 weeks?

Oh, Steve..... come on. If you'll notice, I gave no excuses. Even though:
The Sun was in my eyes
My tires were worn/cold/wrong sized/not round
My car was running perfectly .... I was running poorly
I have 22 points out of a possible 40 :surr:
IT'S A STREET CAR!!! DANG IT!! :banghead:
The radio was too loud and distracted me
The wipers were on
The heater was on
The carpet was bunching around the pedals
The seat was reclined too far back
The Defroster fogged the windows
The electric windows kept running up and down on their own
The cruise control was stuck on 10 MPH
The Fresh air fan blew dust in my eyes
The electric antenna distracted me
The Paint is too shiny
The Wheels are too shiny
My head is too shiny
My electric mirrors kept oscillating

..... and .... I don't know how to drive!!!

Other than that, I have no excuses. :roflmao:
