Normally I would protest this unsubstantiated claim to me driving at any state that is less than in full control; but it is not often my name and Patrick Long's get used in the same sentence without profanity.

I'll take it.

How many of your friends do you need to "substantiate" the claim?

...to me driving at any state that is less than in full control
Now now, no one ever accused ... or implied ... you were anything but in control.

....
; but it is not often my name and Patrick Long's get used in the same sentence without profanity.
Uh, not quite. Your's and Mr. Long's names aren't quite in the same sentence, but conceptually you're in the same theory.

Now, "fast hands" and "Steve Grosekemper" being in the same sentence ... well ... I'll just leave it at that. :roflmao:

Great video, Greg. That really shows how "smooth" doesn't necessarily mean "slow." Just ask Rondeau.

Steve, I saw many similarities between Patrick Long and yourself. He hasn't quite mastered the "let the steering wheel center itself" technique, but I believe that with time, he will. I truly believe that someday, Patrick Long, may well be a household name.

I'm looking forward to some great video (edited to protect the innocent, of course). I'll have to bring some of my personal favorites (I love when I get a point by from GT3's & a certain modified Black 911SC. It must be because I drive "flat out". :roflmao:

What a great video. The man is a true talent. I ran Lime Rock Park many times in the mid- sixties, early seventies. Yes I know I'm old and you weren't born yet. :D Drove a CS, Renault Gordini, DP, Austin Healey 3000, HP, AH Sprite, many times in the rain. :( (That was before there was a kink in the no name straight to slow the cars). My fist ever lap was an eye opener  As you approach the main straight there is a bridge you sware you're going to drive into, however, the the track drops quickly, and your stomach rises  Great fun! :beerchug:
