January 2005 AX

Postby Jan Mellinger on Mon Dec 27, 2004 4:39 pm

It seemed like people were talking about a planned AX on January 30. Is this right? Is the Sunday planned because of the National Porshe event on Saturday night?

That's exactly right. We grabbed up the 30th so national could see how it's done in SDR, and possibly even participate, if they want to.

This will be a really fun day. I hope everyone comes out with their (hopefully) new toys Santa brought them  .

I'll be there, new car, old paint job. Need to shake down the car somewhere...I'll miss you Dan. Perhaps you should think about spec class :)

Jackie, I'm not going anywhere. I'll be happy to help you sort out the new ride. We can play with the turn-in, oversteer (if there is any) and drift capabilities. Should be fun!!!!!

Spec Class? Sure! I just need someone to donate a car to "my racing team" .

See you all bright and early.

So if there is going to be a January 30th AX has the rules committee determined the RULES for the AX. The time for spending some cheap points is clearly here!!

Remember Steve, that a guy can't routinely upgrade his car without cheap points and tech's love routine upgrades, that's how project cars are started, and tech's love project cars, that's how kids go to college.... Smile....

You asked the wrong question...
You should have asked about the zero point upgrades....
You certainly don't have to tell me about upgrades, I am constantly upgrading all of my cars.
However I don't race a steet stock car.
Street stock is now what it was originally intended to be. A class for the guy with the car he just rolled of the showroom floor.
It will now be about alignment set-up, tires and oh ya... driving.

You will understand better when the rules are posted...very soon I promise!

I will also have a explaination of how they will effect us all on the rules page as I do each year. It is all about all of us having an even playing field to chase our friends on!
