Tom, why would that be the case? The Spec. classes are just another set of modifications to the base car. The new system would handle these Spec cars quite nicely.
The last thing we need is a proliferation of classes like we have in the old system. I think you told me you counted 75 classes in the old system, which is one of the primary problems with it. The other problem is, of course, what Dan describes in detail with Prepared, Improved, Modified and Race classes.
