Yes, true, no SS classes for older models.
If you recall, SS classes for older vs newer models where different in the old rules.
SS classes for older models allowed minor changes, while the newer models had to be bare-bones stock.
Why -- because the number of bare-bone stock older models is pretty low.
It made sense in the old system to have a "modified" form of SS for old cars. In the new system, not so much, if you are going to allow changes; might as well be in the CC classes.

Thanks Tom,

That's what I came up with, CC01. So is there a CC00 for cars with a 4 speed?

I guess, as you said, "That bus has left the station."

I havn't had any problems at all pointing out my 25 year old car. The system is very straightforward, especially with the classification site Tom provided. :beerchug: Not that I agree with all the point values... :roflmao:

+1000... And a big shout out to Tom Brown and the entire rules team. I absolutely LOVE the new points system with accompanied classification tool . A lot of hard work went into this and judging by the first TT results it is working very well. Bravo! Well Done sir!  :beerchug:

Pointing out your car takes all of 3 minutes if you start here first: http://zone8.pca.org/CarClass/Default.aspx
Choose your car, choose you tires, choose your mods... Bingo! You can even explore a few tire choices to see how it changes your class. Street Stock cars can run in CC points classes and still be VERY competitive. Did I mention that I LOVE IT! :beerchug:

No worries, Mike, the BRI is a mess for next year anyway--we basically copied the GGR PAX and haven't put any work into refining it yet. The top 3 classes all have the same index of 1.000, so you have the same index as a CC14 car. I don't see how that is supposed to work, exactly--if they all have the same index, then theoretically they have equal speed potential. :banghead:
