CFOS Video

Here's the Sunday morning practice session, TT Red run group. This was in perfect morning conditions: great temp, clear skies, good traction.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEcxV13R ... AAAAAAAAAA

I like the last letters of this link: "AAAAAAAA" How appropriate!

Load your videos, too. This could be a great thread.

As for this vid: "Let the excuses begin!" :surr:

- "If I woulda caught that last apex, Mike C. would have been mine!!!!" :banghead: :x

And ... note the attempt to immitate Mark R., and Steve G driving styles. :roflmao:

Timed Runs video being processed now.

Nice driving Dan! You totally nailed the infield and I agree with EriK K. comment that a wider entry into turn 1, hang your attachments out the window, and apex turn 2 at 130mph would make these textbook laps. Turn 2 is the only place I could catch you. You had me everywhere else.

.... And if you liked the practice, you'll really enjoy the Timed Runs. I got a little loose, and crazy. Plenty of hoots and fist pumps in-car.

Kudos to Paul Young for being the "Gentleman Racer." In the garage he gave me huge congrats and high-fives. Thanks, Paul!

Next year: flat-out in the oval.

Thanks, Dave. Yeah, I noticed my voice dropped an octave after this weekend. :roflmao: Next year may see some more speed through 1 and 2.

Very nice save, Vic Elford said turn the car downhill when in trouble on a bank.
You were able to throw a couple right turn corrections and walked away.
The risk of the same happening to me keeps me off the roval.

That's major fishtailing. My blood pressure jumped just watching it.

Great car control.

Nice driving, Mark. Your pass at turn 5 was ... tight. I'm sure Smilin' Dave would agree.

Your wiggle at 7:30 frame was vintage Rondeau control. Very nice. 8)

I still can't believe how fast you can make that car go. Truly, you have the art of carry-speed refined. Keeping up/catching Boxters in a 944S (S is for Super-fast??) is just amazing to me. To Boxter owners ... it's just wrong. :banghead:

We'll play at WSIR, sorry I'll miss Chuckwalla Counter-Clockwise.
