I just wish I could get my car quiet enough to run there. :(

Very tempted. I'll be going up to Bay area for work the week before. May just bring the trailer with me. Who else is going?

I went up there for a POC event in 2004 I think. I had two, 16" mufflers, a 90 degree diverter, insulation all around my air box. First run session, black flagged. Added second muffler. Second run session added 90 degree diverter after having it welded up at the race school. Black flagged. Finally, decided to put a soup can with a bunch of holes in the end around the end of the exhaust. Worked for about 3 laps until my wife said it was glowing red hot and came off. We packed up and came home. Too bad, I would love to run there.

Not too many of us are going..this event is 90db. You have to have a game plan for this,,,,,it's the intake noise that will kill our cars.....

I recall when I tried to do my run up there, some of the 800+ turbos in the POC, sounded like giant vacuum cleaners going down the front straight. I am pretty sure that HP was severly deluted. Too bad they did not make the homeowners in the area sign waivers not to complain about the track noise, before they built their homes. But then, this Wakafornia.

I'll pass this time. No time to prepare the car due to another business trip. Looking forward to the video clips.
