I noticed we have a overnight tour on October13, I have been looking forward to an overnighter. I would recomend to anyone that is interested in attending to call the hotel for reservations. Since it is Octoberfest, they are starting to receive a lot of reservations for that Saturday already.
This will be a great run, looking forward to the run.

You are absolutely correct. There are a few other groups that will be in Big Bear the same weekend so I highly recommend anyone interested in attending to get their hotel rooms soon. The North Woods Resort is the recommended place to stay, but if it fills up there are a few other hotels within walking distance. I have a contact at the hotel who told me she could assist in getting rooms, so if anyone has any trouble please e-mail me at tours@pcasdr.org.
If you have a AAA card that will get you the best rate.

For those who want to go for a drive, but don't want to spend the night I welcome you to join us either the whole way to Big Bear or at least to Idyllwild to have some lunch and see the rest of us off.
