PDS = Great Success!

Postby AGill on Mon Oct 22, 2012 10:43 am

This weekend's PDS was a huge success!!! Thanks to the hard work of so many instructors and volunteers we had one of the smoothest running schools that I've personally been a part of. The CDI's can't thank you enough for your dedication. You all make me proud to be part of this club :beerchug:

See Greg's post for some great photos! I'll second his sentiment in thanking Black Forest for their great support each and every PDS

I also have to thank my wife, Lana, for buying all the breakfast food and getting up both mornings at 5:30 to come put on an excellent spread for everyone. She did all this with our 6 month old baby in tow!

Adam, Bill and Chuck, Well done! It takes a small army to put on a PDS and you managed it well.

Adam, I was one of the 12 mid-engine group and I was wondering if its possible to get name-email contact info for our group.

I know that about half of us or more wanted to go Auto-x or DE to keep exploring all the good stuff we just learned and I thought it would be nice to organize something and head out as a group.

We fragmented and split before I thought of collecting everyones contact info to organize an outing together to a track.

Ray,

You have a PM.

I love the idea of keeping in touch with your fellow students!

Really great job by all. Adam, you and the Team did a great job. Really fantastic. I've been involved in a couple of these over the years, and this one was really great. Thanks for letting me be a part of it. I'm honored to be included on such good events. I'm looking forward to helping where ever I can in 2013. :beerchug:

Indeed it was.
I was happy, but more importantly, my student, Maya, (and spouse), was happy.
Now Maya is looking forward to doing the AX on 15 Dec and specifically asks that one of the fast ladies Jennifer R or Jackie C instruct her.

Many people contributed to the success of the event, but I'm going to call out Adam for going above and beyond the call of duties to ensure that we all had a kick-a$$ event to participate in.

As an added bonus we had another fixed object skydiver join the fun.

Just to follow up on "Team Yellow".

We have all been in email contact with each other and the response has been enthusiastic and contagious as we have started sharing info, experiences, equipment ideas, references and helping each other out.

We are ALL making plans to start attending Auto-X's, DE etc

You will see half our group or more Nov 24th and we are getting a Yellow banner/Flag for our staging area to help us congregate at the events.

Looks like "Team Yellow" is going for it, thanks to all the great people that made our PDS event so enjoyable and engaging!!!! :burnout:
